Merrill Snow, 70, died June 5, 1998 in Kaysville, Utah at the home of his daughter.
Born May 2, 1928 in Salina, Utah to Charles Snow Jr. and Ada Delilah King. He was reared in Teasdale, Utah. He married Zella Huntsman on December 27, 1950 in the Manti LDS Temple. Merrill graduated from Wayne High School in Bicknell, Utah. He attended the Branch Agriculture College in Cedar City and the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. He had been a resident of Bountiful, Utah since 1957. Merrill Snow worked as a Quality Control Specialist at Hill Field Air Force Base for 28 years. He also served in the Armed Forces from 1951 to 1953.Merrill Snow was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in many positions, including Missionary to England, Stake Missionary, Teacher in Priesthood Quorums, Cub Master, Temple Veil Worker, Assistant Ward Financial Clerk, Historical Clerk, and Executive Secretary to the High Priests Quorum.
He is survived by his wife, Zella; and children, daughter-in-law, Pat Snow, Shirley Moulton (Jeff), Mark (Blanca), Spencer (Deanne), Lois Krum, and Marilyn Whitchurch (Michael). He had 17 grandchildren. His surviving siblings are his brother, Emery; and sisters, Fern Peterson, Elma Hansen, and Vera Taylor. He was preceded in death by his oldest son, Raymond; grandchild, Stephanie Moulton; parents; and brothers, Clyde and Byron.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday June 9, 1998 at 12 noon at the Bountiful North Stake Center, 1500 North 400 East. Family and friends may call Monday evening from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, and from 10:45-11:45 a.m. at the church prior to service. Interment, Bountiful City Cemetery.
