Salt Lake residents are invited to learn the basics of navigating the World Wide Web with free Internet classes that begin today in the Salt Lake City Public Library system.

Classes are offered during the summer at all locations. No reservations are necessary. Those unable to attend a scheduled class or needing a class in Spanish may call 524-8200.Here's the schedule: Anderson-Foothill Branch, 1135 S. 2100 East, 10:30 a.m. today and Aug. 1; Chapman Branch, 577 W. 1000 North, 10:30 a.m. on June 27, July 25 and Aug. 22; Day-Riverside Branch, 1575 W. 1000 North, 10 a.m. June 13, July 11 and Aug. 8; Main Library, Children's Department, 209 E. 500 South, 2 p.m. June 12, July 10 and Aug. 14.
