Jazz 26 31 31 29 -117

Bulls 28 25 28 27 -108

After Chicago falls behind 2-0 in the cyber-series, Michael Jordan leads a strong Bulls attack with 18 first-quarter points, but the Jazz bench helps cut the Bulls' lead to only two at the end of the period. Jeff Hornacek and Karl Malone contribute to a Jazz run that enables Utah to enjoy a four-point lead at the half.

A big quarter by Scottie Pippen helps the Bulls keep it close in the third period, but behind great play by John Stockton and Bryon Russell, the Jazz pull away in the fourth quarter. The nine-point victory gives the Jazz a commanding 3-0 series lead over defending champion Chicago.

With 20 points, 17 assists and one steal, Stockton is named Player of the Game for Game 3 of the NBA Finals. Pippen leads all scorers with 29 points, while Jordan breaks out of his two-game sub-20 slump with 28 points. Malone adds 28 points and seven rebounds for the Jazz.
