The 13 million-member AFL-CIO is calling for a national boycott of Oregon Steel Mills Inc. and Wells Fargo Bank.

The call is part of the union's continuing protest of Oregon Steel Mills, which it says forced 1,000 workers out on strike last October by refusing to bargain a new contract in good faith. Wells Fargo is the Colorado steel company's major financial source, the union says.Several dozen members of United Steelworkers of America Local 2701 held a protest rally in front of Wells Fargo's downtown Salt Lake office in February.
