Norman LeRoy Butcher, 70, passed away at his home in Pocatello, Idaho May 28, 1998.

He is survived by his daughter, Melanie Smith (Jeffrey), of Chubbuck, Idaho; son, Mike Butcher, of Jackpot, Nevada; friend and grandson, Austin Butcher; twin grandsons, Brandon and Justin Smith, all of Chubbock, Idaho; grandsons, Nolan and Ryan Butcher, of Utah; six brothers, Glen (Liz), Jerald (Pat), Larry (Delores), all of Wyoming; Dennis (Lola), of Nevada; and David (Sue) and Donald (Shirley), both of Utah; six sisters, Shirley Nellen (Glen), Bonnie Bingham, Joyce Ward (Bill), all of Wyoming; Sherrie Zenger (Ace), Patricia Davies (Walt), and Susan Whitehead (Kenneth), all of Utah; he is also survived by his stepchildren, Gayla Borden, Lana Richard, Lisa Davis, Kirk Petzoldt, Geina Meister, all from the Truckee, California area. He was also survived by his dear friend, Aloha Clark, of Pocatello.Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 3, 1998 at the Chubbuck 5th Ward, located on the corner of Siphon and Philbon Rds. Viewing will be Tuesday, June 2, 1998, from 7-9 p.m. at the Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 So. 4th Ave., Pocatello, Idaho, and at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Idaho Falls.
