Ira Burton Jackson, 85, died May 31, 1998, in Price, Utah.

He was born June 12, 1912, in Clifton, Arizona, to Franklin Felix and Elizabeth Ophelia Greholver Jackson. He married Alice Violet Smith, November 15, 1932.He was a member of the LDS Church and will be remembered as being a devoted home teacher. He was generous with his hand-crafted items and was very honest with all his dealings. He was a good father, grandfather and friend.

Survivors include his children, Ira L. Jackson of Oak City, Utah; Jerroleane Olsen of Price, and Kent Boyack of Price; 16 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren. Also survived by sister Mable McKendrick of Salt Lake City, and brother Ray F. Jackson of Glendale, Calif.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 3, 1998, at 1 p.m. in the Orchard 4th Ward LDS Chapel, 55 East 350 North, North Salt Lake. Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Fausett Mortuary in Price and one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Bountiful City Cemetery, 2600 South 200 West, Bountiful.
