Jerry Lee Cutshaw, age 59, died at home May 29, 1998 from leukemia.
A devoted family man and a sports enthusiast, Jerry was born June 13, 1938 in Hutchinson, Kansas to Robert Leo and Iva O. Cutshaw, who preceded him in death. Moved to Vernal in 1946 and graduated from Unitah High in 1956. Attended the University of Utah where he played football. He later played pro baseball in Tucson, Arizona. Married Diane Bergvall on March 23, 1959, who preceded him in death. Married Ruby Park on April 20, 1985. Owner of Interiors Contracting, Inc. of Murray since 1976. Enjoyed coaching Little League and was a prior member at Alpine and Jeremy Ranch Country Clubs and a lifelong avid golfer.Survived by wife, Ruby; daughter, Karie Lyn (Jim) Gillen, Huntington Beach, CA; son, Curtis Lee (Stephanie), Salt Lake City; stepdaughter, Tori Khosrovi, Fort Worth, TX.; stepson, Matt Hansen, Salt Lake City; sister, Shirley Joan (Harold) Alt, Blytheville, AR; grandchildren, Colton, Curren, Courtney, Caree, Caison and Christopher.
Funeral services Wednesday, June 3, 1998, at 1 p.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, Midvale, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial, Elysian Burial Gardens. The family welcomes flowers, or if you prefer, donations to the Leukemia Society.
