Leone Hall Butler, age 86, died May 28, 1998, at her home in Salt Lake City.
She was born March 10, 1912, Idaho, the daughter of Archibald Sanford and Fanny Evans Hall. She married William Beecher Butler, June 17, 1931 in the Salt Lake Temple.Leone was a member of the Holladay 3rd Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. At the time of her death she was serving as a Relief Society Visiting Teacher and Supervisor.
She is survived by one son and four daughters, W. Don (Janet), Kennewick, WA; Ruth Butler, Salt Lake City; Leah (Dean) Allen, Philomath, OR; Gena (Willis) Packham, Portland, OR; 21 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; a brother, Earl J. (Bonnie) Hall, Ogden; two sisters, Fay (Melvin) Murphy, Corinne, and Alice Cass, Ogden.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Lugene; and a grandson, Boyd Rasmussen.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 2nd, 11 a.m. at the Holladay 3rd Ward, 4568 South Holladay Blvd. Friends may call Monday from 6-8 p.mm. and Tuesday, 9:30-10:40 at the church. Arrangements under the direction of Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, Tremonton. Interment, Garland City Cemetery.
