Reforming the IRS is like reforming the KGB. It can't be done, even if you give it a pretty, new name. The problems with the IRS are systemic. Furthermore, they are a reflection of Congress who passed the laws that created the monster and its tax code.

A politician with common sense would favor a simple and fair system of taxation like a national sales tax. I'm waiting to see who this person is.Andrew Howard
