Lori Ann Bogedahl, age 34, died tragically in an automobile accident along with her sweetheart Don (Bud) Kitchin May 27, 1998.

Born October 19, 1963 in Bountiful, Utah to James Dean and Caroline Kaye Butterfield Bogedahl.She was raised in the Salt Lake area and Kanab, Utah. Graduated from Cottonwood High School in 1982. She was a loving mother, caring friend, and beautiful person. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Survived by her children, Sommer Don, Karl, Kandice and Kyle; father, Dean and step-mother, Jackie, Torrey, UT; brother, Jim (Hiromi), Komaki, Japan; sisters, Jeri (Gary) Crosby, Kanab; Patty (Mark) Johnson, Cedar City; Kamille (Bart) Finklea, St. George; Marci (Brian) Beck, Centerville; grandmother, Leona Gunnell, Salt Lake City; step-brothers and sister, Becky, Eric and David. Donald Thorvald Kitchin, Jr., our loving son, brother and father, returned to the loving of his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, May 27, 1998, with his loving companion of many years, Lori Bogedahl.

Buddy as he was known by his many relatives, was born August 20, 1955 to Donald Thorvald Kitchin, Sr., and Zane Lorretta Nordahl in Downey, California. He spent his younger years growing up in Buena Park, California, moving to Salt Lake in 1976. The past eight years, owned and operated Meineke Muffler in Bountiful, Utah.

Buddy is survived by his parents, Lorretta Bowman, Donald and Sherry Kitchin; children, Sommer Don, Karl Brandon, Kandice Nichole and Kyle Lennon Kitchen; brother, Sean M. (Valari) Kitchin; sisters, Kristine (Randy) Jones, and Stanni Kitchin; half-brother and sister, Chad Kitchen, and Alicia Kitchin; step-brother and sister, David (Nicki) White, and Traci Stephens, and families; many nieces and nephews, Shannan Kitchin, Sean Kitchin, Jr., Alexandria, Dayne, Savannah Kitchin, Shaydyn, and Brandon Jones.

* Joint funeral service will be held Saturday, May 30, 1998, 1 p.m. Holladay 3rd Ward chapel, 4568 So. Holladay Blvd. Friends may call at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple, Friday evening 6-8 p.m. and again Saturday at the church, one hour prior to the service. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
