Jamie Ogden had three hits and drove in two runs Tuesday night to lead the Salt Lake Buzz to a 3-1 Pacific Coast League victory over the Memphis Redbirds.

Memphis' right-handed starter Brian Barnes (0-2) was the loser despite striking out 12 Buzz in five innings.Barnes gave up a RBI double to Ogden in the second innings, a solo home run to Mike Moriarity in the third and a RBI single to Ogden in the fourth.

Salt Lake starter Mark Redman (1-0) got the win in his debut with the Buzz.

In six innings of work, Redman allowed three hits. Memphis, which stranded 10 runners, got its only run in the seventh on Placido Polanco's fielder's choice ground ball.

Fred Rath earned his sixth save for the Buzz.

The Buzz and Redbirds face one another again the next three nights, then Salt Lake heads to Las Vegas for a three-game set against the Stars. The Buzz won't return to Franklin Quest Field until June 4-7 when they take on the Edmonton Trappers.
