Roma Church Esplin, a life long resident of St. George, Utah passed away May 15, 1998 in St. George.

She was born in St. George on September 29, 1906, the youngest of nine children born toHaden Wells Church, an original settler of St. George, and Violet Pendleton Church.

On June 27, 1928, Roma married Lee J. Esplin in the St. George Temple. To them were born five children: Darlo (Grace), Donald (Ruth), Stanley (Diane), all of St. George; Marilynn (Robert) of San Jose, California and David Glen (Helen) of Salt Lake City. Her husband preceded her in death in 1980.

Roma was very active in the church and community, serving as Stake Relief Society president in two different stakes and as a worker in the St. George Temple for over 20 years.

She leaves a posterity of 31 grandchildren and 66 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held May 19, 1998 in St. George, Utah, followed by interment in the St. George City Cemetery.
