A woman became lost in the hills above Bountiful after she wandered around for several hours Friday and Saturday, police said.

A group of Boy Scouts hiking in Mueller Park Canyon found Susan Olson, 54, exhausted just off a trail Saturday about 2 p.m. Her family reported her missing about 24 hours earlier, Bountiful Police Sgt. Roger Green said. The woman was apparently depressed. She went for a walk and got lost."The family said she sometimes took walks up the canyon," Green said. "Her physician put her on new medication and they worried that it had disoriented her."

The Boy Scouts contacted authorities with a cellular phone. Search and rescue crews helped the woman down the trail and paramedics took her to Lakeview Hospital. Doctors treated her for mild hypothermia. She was in good condition Saturday night.
