An inch of rain overnight produced flooding in a Kaysville trailer park Thursday morning. The cloudburst overflowed street drains and the already-full Fiddler Creek on the boundary between Kaysville and Layton. Several back yards were flooded and the basement of at least one home in Kaysville was soaked, causing slight damage. Larry Burch, forecaster at the National Weather Service regional office in Salt Lake City, said rain, instead of an unusual snowmelt, caused the flooding.
