The great problem of our nation is that the real child-care provider is in the wrong home. Instead of asking the government for more money for child-care centers, these so-called "village providers" need to let me keep more of "my money."

I don't want to find someone for my children; I want to take care of them myself. However, since government only treats (as well as creates) symptoms and not problems, that will never happen. A lot of mothers want to stay home. A lot of fathers want their wives home. There are those who want to work and that is fine, but it should be the government that is scraping by and not the families.Mel Smith
