Glenn Peck, 70, passed away from cancer on May 19, 1998.
Glenn attended schools in Salt Lake City and graduated from Brigham Young University. He served in the Merchant Marines during World War II and with the occupation forces in Germany. He spent several years as an audiologist and was an intern-professor at Purdue University prior to moving to Washington. He retired from Washington State service in 1990 after 28 years as a Health Services Administrator, division of Maternal and Child Health Care, Crippled Children's Services, Department of Social and Health Services. He and his wife spent the last four years as full time RV'ers. He loved travel, stunt kite flying, gardening and enjoyed sharing his experiences with family and friends.He is survived by his wife, Barbara; daughters, Deborah, Olympia; Kay Lynne Arnold, Roseburg, ID; step-daughter, Erin Turner, Olympia; step-son, Shawn McMullin, Wooster, OH; six grandchildren; brother, Darrell Peck, Roseburg, OR; sisters, Annette Carter; and Jean Crowley; Salt Lake City.
Cremation was handled by Rose Mortuary, Desert Hot Springs.
