Blanche Olney Wanner, 81, of Prosser, WA., died May 19, 1998.

Blanche was born a twin, May 3, 1917 in Smithfield, Utah to Joseph and Ida Pearl Cantwell Olney. She married Joseph John Wanner, January 10, 1934, and lived in Utah until 1985 when she moved to Selah, WA, to be near her daughter. She was an active member of the LDS Church. Blanche enjoyed music, dancing, cooking, camping and created many crafted gifts for her family. Being born with a sense of humor was her most outstanding gift. It helped her to cope with the trials and heartaches of this life, and brought much love and laughter to those around her.Blanche is survived by sons: Lawrence John Wanner, and Brent Lynn Wanner, both Salt Lake City; Rodney Charles (Sharon) Wanner, Providence, UT; daughter, LaDean (Larry) Yost, Toppenish, WA; 18 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Joseph John Wanner, March 22, 1988, sisters: Odessa, Lorena, Della, Erma, Leone, Ada and Dorothy; brother, Lynn; and twin brother, Joseph Blaine; daughter Joan Carol Miller; son, Gary Joseph Wanner; grandson, Jon Craig Yost; and great-grandson, Jonathan Clark Wanner.

"We will dearly miss you Mom, Grandma, Aunt Blanche and friend. Until we meet again we will shed a thousand tears, laugh and enjoy the wonderful memories you left behind. Rejoice in your earthly accomplishments, be thankful you are out of pain and misery, and be forever grateful to a loving Heavenly Father for sending you into our lives to bless us with your love."

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 26th at 12 noon at the Allen Hall Mortuary, 34 E. Center, Logan. A viewing will be held at the mortuary one hour prior to service.

Interment in Logan City Cemetery.
