After their divorce, she married William P. Zumwalt on August 28, 1942 in Evanston, Wyoming. Their marriage lasted for more than 52 years. As a member of the LDS Church, Utah was active in the Primary, the ward choir, the Relief Society, stake mission, service in the temple, and the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She was a long-time resident of the Salt Lake 26th Ward, where she loved her service and association with the great people there. After Bill's death, she moved to the Apple Tree Retirement Home in Kaysville, Utah, where she enjoyed her stay immensely.
Utah loved her family and was always willing to tell stories of the past, especially those which tied in with family history. Her clear and vivid recollection of the past made this an especially valuable resource to many.
