Nearly 2,800 people will be contacted by the Utah Agricultural Statistics Service during its annual June Agriculture Survey, under way through June 6, according to State Statistician DelRoy J. Gneiting.

Data about hogs and pigs, grain stocks and crops will be collected through personal visits with Utah farmers and ranchers and telephone interviews.Information about the state's grain stocks and hog and pig statistics will be released at 1 p.m. June 30 and crop statistics will be made available at 1 p.m. July 12.
