A member of the Utah State University wrestling team has pleaded not guilty to three felony charges stemming from the rape of a 19-year-old Logan woman.
David Zuniga, Worland, Wyo., entered the pleas Tuesday in 1st District Court to charges of forcible sodomy and rape, both first-degree felonies, and one count of burglary, a second-degree felony.
Defense attorney Robert McRae, of Vernal, filed a motion asking that the victim's past sexual behavior be allowed as evidence during the upcoming trial.
Judge VeNoy Christoffersen said he will rule on that motion and set a trial date on July 11. The judge ordered Zuniga's bail continued at $15,000.
Zuniga, 20, was bound over to district court following a May 13 preliminary hearing in 1st Circuit Court.
