Elaine K. Harding, age 82, passed over on May 17, 1998 after a short struggle with cancer.
Born October 5, 1915 to Leopold W. and Gertrude M. Brock Kmetzsch. She married William Schon in 1940, who was killed in World War II. In 1948, she married Richard G. Harding, who died in 1978.She worked for many years in the fashion industry. Member of the Utah Woolen Mills designer department from 1937 to 1948.
She is survived by her loving family: son, L. Richard Harding; and wife, Char, of Seattle, WA; daughter, Kaye H. Parker and husband, Scott, of West Jordan; granddaughter, Heather K. Ford and husband, Darrell Starr; great-grandson, Mickenzie John Starr; and step-grandson, Carl Parker; brother, LeRoy L. Kmetzsch of Sevier, UT; sister, Darlene K. McNeil, of Sunnyvale, CA; several nieces and nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by brother, Harry L. Kmetzsch; and sister, Phyllis Wiscombe.
She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. Special thanks to Char, Dan and staff of Paracelsus Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
