"Dear Mother, the struggle is over."

On Friday, May 15, we lost our wife, mother, grandmother and friend.Shirley Ann Tussey Cutler was born on September 16, 1937 in Buhl, Idaho to Ben Harold and Eileen Tussey. She married M. Reed Cutler on March 23, 1958, marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Shirley's exuberance for life touched many people. She was active in the LDS church, excelling in working with the youth. While working for both Dayspring and LifeLine as a drug treatment counselor, she was instrumental in showing many the way back from addiction. She adored her grandchildren and especially enjoyed having them sleep over to decorate for the holidays. She made every occasion special.

She is survived by her husband, Reed; and her children and grandchildren, David, Kathy, Marshall and Shannon Cutler; LeAnn, Paul, Megan, Aliya and Ethan Drake; Dan, Jaylem, Sam, J.D. and Chris Cutler; Karalee, Andrew, Jillian, Tyler and Ryan Ditty; Brad, Alisa, Cameron and Alexandra Cutler. Also survived by her mother, Eileen Tussey; sister, Sue Stephenson and brother, Gary Tussey. Preceded in death by her father, Ben, and parents-in-law Melvin and Emma Cutler.

At Shirley's request, no funeral services will be held. She will live on in the memories of those who loved her. "Life is eternal, love is immortal, and death is only a horizon."
