Mountain High School Friday will hold a silent art auction to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Utah.

The auction will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. at the school, 490 S. 500 East, and include up to 50 original oils, watercolors, sculpture and limited edition prints, said coordinator Paull D. Gunderson. Everyone is invited.Local artists, including Richard Van Wagoner, Norma Forsberg and Lester Lee, offered their work for the fund-raiser.

The event is sponsored by "Mountain High Kids for Wish Kids," a student group at the Davis County alternative school. The group was formed to help the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which aims to grant the wishes of terminally ill children.
