It could be days before investigators determine what caused a weekend explosion that leveled a three-story home, injuring 17 people.

The crumpled building was tipped at a 45-degree angle after Saturday night's blast, and the homes nearby were all but destroyed by fire."I've seen explosions like this with gasoline, I've seen them with natural gas, I've seen them with propane," Fire Capt. Elmer Carr said. "There's several possible causes, but we have to get the debris off to find out what happened."

Arson investigators and agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms surveyed the damage Sunday. A full investigation was to begin Monday with the demolition of debris.
