The mother of a 17-year-old boy who was killed in a reputed drug house has sued two cities for $10 million, saying he was forced into the dangerous job of police informant to avoid prosecution on drug charges.

The body of 17-year-old Chad MacDonald was found tortured and strangled on March 3 in a South Los Angeles alley. His teen-age girlfriend - beaten, raped and shot - was left for dead in Angeles National Forest but survived. Three people have been charged.The boy's mother, Cindy MacDonald, has accused Brea police of failing to protect her son and pressuring him to work under cover after arresting him on drug charges.
