Anderson Lumber Co. will expand its string of lumber and hardware operations in Utah to 18 with the acquisition of existing businesses in Sigurd and Manti.
Kelly Alvey, who established and owns Alvey Lumber, will continue his association with the Anderson company in helping to promote sales for both locations. He will retain full ownership of a building materials center in Monroe.I think it is great that our Sigurd and Manti store associates will have the opportunity to join the Anderson Lumber team, Alvey said. Sale price was not disclosed. He believes that Anderson's buying power, expertise and commitment to service will bring added value to customers in the two areas.
Anderson Lumber Co. has been in existence for 108 years. It operates 29 building materials centers, six truss plants and a commodity reload distribution center in Utah, Idaho and Wyoming.
