A motion to suppress evidence was filed Thursday in 4th District Court for former BYU basketball player Ronald J. Selleaze, 21, who is accused of possessing marijuana.

Selleaze is charged with possession of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone, a class A misdemeanor. Investigators say that when police responded on March 16 to a noise complaint at a Provo apartment that they found marijuana on Selleaze.Attorney Danny Frazier filed the motion, challenging the way police obtained evidence in the case. A hearing on the suppression motion is scheduled for July 13 at 3:30 p.m.
