The Brigham Young University Cancer Research Center has awarded 10 fellowships for students doing full-time research in its laboratories.

Recipients include Greg Chipman, Robert Derham, Amy Farris, Sathyajich Kumarasinghe, Brian Ladle, Brent Moore, Kelli Nielson, Timothy Rand, Michael Redd and Jianfeng Zhu. Fellowship recipients are from the departments of microbiology, zoology, chemistry and biochemistry.Students receiving fellowships have grade point averages greater than 3.7 and have at least 1.5 years of intensive research experience under the supervision of a member of the Cancer Research Center. The research projects are in the field of cancer biochemistry and in the synthesis of new cancer drugs and treatments.
