Rea Fay Sadler Husberg, 94, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter in Salt Lake City, Utah, May 11, 1998.

She was born January 7, 1904 in Salt Lake City, the oldest child of Leslie Dare and Amelia Hardman Sadler. Married Andrew Gustav Husberg, April 28, 1926 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death December 10, 1968. As an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served faithfully for many years as ward and Relief Society organist, teacher and visiting teacher, and as a temple worker. She cherished her pioneer heritage, and as a descendent of seven early Utah pioneers, was a member of the DUP. Fay was kind and loving and devoted to her family. She was greatly loved and will be deeply missed.Survived by son, Paul Jay (Joyce) Husberg; daughter, Joan (Karl) Gillette, both of Salt Lake City; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Also survived by sisters, Evelyn (Kenneth) Goble, of Magna; Murial Griffeth, of Kearny, AZ; brothers, Eugene (Dorene) Sadler, Wallace Sadler and LaVell (Joey) Sadler, of Magna; sister-in-law Phyllis Sadler, of Port Orchard, WA. Preceded in death by brothers, Grant and Le Grande.

The family would like to thank IHC Hospice, and especially Sue Ann, Debbie and Elmis, who were so helpful, kind and caring.

Funeral service Saturday May 16, at 11 a.m., Cannon Mortuary, 2460 E. Bengal Blvd. (7600 S.) where friends and family may call Saturday from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Interment Elysian Burial Gardens.
