Charlie Ginoulis, 65, a 32-year Tacoma resident, was born in Salt Lake City, Utah and died May 8, 1998 in Tacoma, Washington.

Charlie retired from the US Army after 22 and a half years service and also as a customer service representative for Fred Meyer. He was a member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, an Army veteran having served in Europe and two tours in Viet Nam.He was preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Elizabeth Ginoulis; and sister, Marie Garver. Charlie is survived by his wife of 37 years, Anita Ginoulis; son, Steve C. Ginoulis, Tacoma, WA; brother, Ken Ginoulis, Lodi, CA; sisters, Chris Ginoulis, El Paso, TX; Betty Floor, Camarillo, CA; granddaughter, Mary Ginoulis; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 13th, at the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, Tacoma, WA. Committal service with full military honors at New Tacoma Cemetery. Arrangements by Piper-Morley-Mellinger Funeral directors. 253-472-3353
