The Utah Association for Gifted Children is inviting parents and other interested adults to a seminar examining the special emotional and social needs of gifted children.

Keynote speakers will include Sally Lafferty of the Salt Lake City School District as well as Linda Smith, who is on the board of directors for the National Children and Adults with Attention Deficit Disorders. Smith will speak about gifted children who have also been diagnosed with ADD and hyperactivity disorder.The seminar, which will be held Thursday, May 14, is free for all UAGC members. Memberships can be purchased for $15 at the door. The seminar will begin at 7 p.m. at the Jones Center, 362 E. 3605 South, Salt Lake City. Call 268-8520.
