The Monte L. Bean Life Science Museum at Brigham Young University is sponsoring a series of Saturday Safari summer sessions May 9 through Aug. 1 for children ages 5 to 10.
Each class is $6 per student, which is due at the time of registration. "Friends of the Museum" cost is $4 per student. The Saturday classes begin at 9:30 a.m. and end at noon at the Bean Museum. Schedules and registration forms are available at the museum. For information call 378-5051.Classes are divided according to age group. The classes focus on different animals, their behavior and the environment in which they live. Most of the classes will take place in the museum with one or two trips to locations around the BYU campus, said Matt Gowans, Saturday Safari coordinator.
A release form must be signed by children's parent or guardian at the time of registration and registration must be completed one week before the class begins.
