Jazz 91, Nuggets 81

SALT LAKE CITY - This was a Game 7 nobody expected. After jumping out to a 3-0 series lead, the Nuggets rallied and won the next three, setting up a sudden death game. With Larry H. Miller absent - he was suspended for two games by the NBA for scuffling with a Nuggets fan - the Jazz finally ended Denver's dream season.

"I saw Sports Illustrated here, SPORT (magazine) . . . I've seen all of 'em," said Karl Malone. "I can imagine what the cover of Sports Illustrated would look like if (Denver) would have won."

Top Jazz scorer: Karl Malone, 31
