A car and a home were damaged during a drive-by shooting Saturday night.

A man, 20, East Central City, was arguing with a woman, 21, at a party a block from her house, 1393 W. Glenrose Drive (1150 South), about 9:30 p.m. The woman told police the man said "her house would be shot up," according to a Salt Lake police report.Moments after the man and his friend left the party, shots were fired outside the woman's house, the report states. Witnesses saw a car driving by that matched the man's truck.

When police arrived at the party, the truck was parked in front of the house. Officers found the man inside the party, the report states.

At least four shots were fired, striking a car parked in front of the house and a front bedroom. Another shot hit the area above the front door.

The man admitted to police the next day that he had driven the truck from which the shots were fired. Police believe the incident is gang-related.
