Charlton Heston has intensified his criticism of a television movie produced by Barbra Streisand, calling her "Hanoi Jane of the Second Amendment."

The reference to actress Jane Fonda's 1972 visit to North Vietnam came Monday as Heston called a news conference to complain about "The Long Island Incident," which aired Sunday on NBC.Heston, a vice president of the National Rifle Association, said the movie misrepresented the NRA and the Second Amendment, which deals with the right to bear arms.

"We are talking about a sacred document in America and to distort it and misstate its reality is a very serious error," said Heston.
