Nicholas Gabriel Constantinesco, 70, of Salt Lake City, died May 3, 1998.
He was born March 29, 1928 in Bucharest, Romania, to Constantine and Varvara Popescu Constantinesco. Nichols married Jacqueline Noditza in Paris, France, October 20, 1950. Having lived in Canada and finally in the U.S., Nick's profession was in the computer industry. In addition, he earned a BS degree from Western Connecticut State University. He took great pride in raising his five children and enjoying his eight grandchildren. Early in his life he attended medical school in Romania. He also served in the French Foreign Legion, where he was wounded in Indochina. ("Time to make the donuts").He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline; daughter, Aline (Robert) Dennison; four sons, Frederik (Lizette); Bill (Deborah); James; and Nicholas (Christine); eight grandchildren.
A funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday, 7 p.m. at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, 1375 East Spring Lane (5000 South), where friends may call from 6-7 p.m. Funeral directors: Neil O'Donnell & Sons Mortuary.
