Clippers 115, Jazz 107

ANAHEIM - Though the game itself wasn't memorable, the circumstances surrounding this first-round series will never be forgotten. Originally slated for a Thursday evening tipoff, Game 4 was postponed until Sunday because of the Los Angeles riots. For three days, all the players basically did was watch television in their hotels.

The Jazz must've lost their rhythm sitting around, because they allowed five Clippers to score in double figures when the game was finally played .

"No excuses," said Karl Malone. "Anybody that says that had something to do with it, they're lying."

Top Jazz scorer: Karl Malone, 44

Top Clippers scorer: Danny Manning, 33
