Lynne Madsen Jorgensen, 42, died peacefully at her home, of heart failure, Tuesday, April 28, 1998, incident to a long-term lung disease.

Lynne was born on December 6, 1955 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Ray A. and Gertrude Madsen. She married Kirk Myron Jorgensen on June 6, 1981 in the Logan LDS Temple. Lynne was raised in Centerville and was a graduate of Viewmont High School. She attended Utah State University and received a Masters Degree. She was an active member of the LDS Church and had served in the Canada Montreal Mission.She is survived by her husband, Kirk; four children: Scott Ross, Matthew Ray, Laura and Jessica, all of Hyde Park. Also surviving is her father, stepmother; brothers: Ray E. Madsen, Farmington; Gary (Denny) Madsen, Castledale; David (Kim) Madsen, Centerville; Eric (Shauna) Madsen, West Valley City; and Robert (Tami) Madsen, Layton; as well as two sisters: Susan (Norman) Henke, Deseret; and April Dugal, Bountiful. She was preceded in death by her mother and sister, Cathy.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, May 2, 1998 in the Hyde Park Stake Center, 535 East 200 South Street, with Bishop Norman Doyle of the Hyde Park Second Ward conducting. Friends may call Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Cranney Motuary, 420 East 1800 North, Logan, and at the church Saturday morning from 10:30 a.m. until time of services. Burial will be in the Hyde Park Cemetery.
