Jeanie Cleo Hoover Bennett, age 88, died on April 27, 1998 in Richfield, Utah.

She was born February 21, 1910 in Provo, Utah to Webster and Ruby Holdaway Hoover. She married Faun A. Bennett on September 28, 1928. This marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Her husband of 36 years passed away on April 22, 1964. She lived most of her life in Fillmore, Utah.She was a kind and loving person whom her family loved very much. She was a devout member of the LDS Church, holding a number of positions. She particularly enjoyed temple work until her health declined. Her interests were her family, her home, her garden and beautiful flowers, and was blessed with many choice, special friends who enriched her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters, LaRhea Lance, Clifton Hoover, John Hoover, Kenneth Hoover, Melba Miller, Wendell Hoover and Robert Hoover. She is survived by her son, Edward (Judy) Bennett, of Salt Lake City; daughter, Janice (David) Okerlund, of Richfield, Utah; grandchildren, Candace Riedelbach, of Provo, Utah; Brock Bennett, Blake Bennett and Cyndee Bennett, of Salt Lake City; Jennifer Peterson, of St. George, Utah; Clint Okerlund, serving a mission in Argentina; and Emily Okerlund, of Richfield, Utah; five great-grandchildren; and also a special friend, Roy D. Olpin, currently residing in Richfield, Utah.

The family deeply appreciates all who assisted in their mother's care, particularly the Roy Olpin family and the Richfield Beehive House, where she resided for the past two years, for their loving, compassionate service. We are grateful for a mother who loved us, gave us wise and loving guidance and was always there for us.

Funeral service will be April 30, 1998 at 1 p.m. at the Olpin Mortuary in Fillmore, Utah. Friends and family may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Fillmore Cemetery.
