Olga Selan Fratto, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother was called to heaven to be with the Holy Father.
She was born in Rollap, Utah, October 4, 1916 to John Selan and Olga Zager. She married Sam F. Fratto April 19, 1935 in Price, Utah. They just celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary.Olga spread happiness wherever she went and was deeply loved by her family and friends. She loved to dance and was a member of the Women of the Moose.
She is survived by her husband, Sam; her four sons and their spouses, Don and Cathy, Fred and Mary, Max and Elaine, and Gary and Joy; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Josephine Smith of San Francisco; one brother, Edward Selan of Glenwood Springs, CO. Preceded in death by her parents; sister, Lilian Peterson; brother, John Selan; grandsons, Glen and Todd.
A funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday, 10:30 a.m. at The Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 9800 South 1700 East. A vigil service will be held Wednesday, 7:30 p.m. at the Neil O'Donnell and Sons Mortuary, 372 East 100 South, where friends may call from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
