J. Clark "Doc" Rogers, 56, of Central Valley, passed away April 25, 1998, at his home in Central Valley.
He was born October 28, 1941, in Central Valley, Utah, to Joseph Coleman and Arthella Ogden Rogers. He married Frankie DeAnn Penney, later divorced. He later married Liz Valle. Clark worked and retired from the U.S. Forest Service. He was member of Elks Lodge, State director for the Central Utah Back Country Horseman, served in the National Guard, and was a lifetime farmer. He also loved the outdoors, camping, horseback riding, and being with friends.He is survived by his wife, Liz of Central Valley; children, Jami and Sid Cowley, Richfield; Jennifer Rogers, Central Valley; Lisa of Sacramento, CA; Loren of Hemet, CA; five grandchildren; brothers and sisters, JoAnn and Jake Madsen, Payson; Lois Hollberg, SLC; Phillip C. and Pearl Rogers, Sandy; Nanette and Wayland Shaw, Aurora; brother-in-law, Gerald Hunt, Richfield. He is preceded in death by sister, Jean Hunt and parents.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 28, 1998 at 1 p.m. in the Central Valley LDS Ward Chapel in Annabella. Friends may call at the Magleby Mortuary Monday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and at the ward chapel in Annabella Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery.
