William Franklin Allen, died April 23, 1998, of complications from a stroke.

Born August 7, 1914, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to John and Catherine Ann Jones Allen. Married Geraldine Brown on December 1, 1941. She preceded him in death to meet their son, Robert in l992, and they now experience a joyful reunion. He graduated from East High School and Stevens Henager Business College, and became a successful and respected businessman as president of Kimball Equipment Co. He was an avid golfer and served a term as president of the Fort Douglas Hidden Valley Country Club. He was a gracious and dignified person who cared for others. His greatest titles were those of husband, father, and grandfather. He was adored by his grandchildren, and they were the apple of his eye. He continually strove for their well being and happiness. He was a member of the LDS Church and held the office of elder.Survived by his daughter, Mrs. Elliott (Jennifer) Christensen and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 28, 12 noon in the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park Chapel, 3401 Highland Drive, where friends may call from 10:45-11:45 a.m. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. Funeral Directors, Larkin Mortuary.
