"Beloved Wife", Florence M. Garcia, 85, died April 23, 1998 in Salt Lake City.

Born May 28, 1912 in Brigham City, Utah, to John and Lucy Moon Miller. Married Cruz Garcia in Salt Lake City. Member of the Catholic Church and was the oldest, "very active parishioner", of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish. In her youth, Florence was a professional dancer and she taught Spanish folkloric dance to others to continue the tradition. She loved collecting antiques, artifacts and especially loved the excursions with Cruz to Wendover.Florence was a great-granddaughter of "Little Soldier", Shoshone who helped and advised Brigham Young.

Florence is survived by her husband and numerous nieces and nephews. "She had a great love for life, people and her church".

Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 715 West 300 No. A Vigil Service will be held Monday, 7 p.m. at Neil O'Donnell & Sons Mortuary, 372 East 100 South, where friends may visit Monday 6-7 p.m. Committal Service, Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 4th Ave and "T" St.
