Roena Abbott Tingey, age 64 of Lehi, died April 23, 1998 at her home after an extended illness.

She was born July 7, 1933 in Lehi, Utah, daughter of Stephan Perry and Lorena May Gee Abbott. She married Darhl Leland Tingey, March 8, 1951 in the Salt Lake Temple.She was a ceramist and for many years operated the Ceramic Center of Utah at Point of the Mountain North of Lehi. She was a member of the LDS Church and also a member of the Lion's Club.

Survived by two sons and one daughter, David Gordon (Colleen) Tingey, Springville; Randy Leland (Cindy) Tingey, and Nancy (Richard) Clark, both of Lehi; 11 grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Garth Abbott, St. George; Dr. Stanley E. Abbott, Orem; Mary Self, Downey, California; Azalia Stolworthy, Logan; Nora Sampson, Midvale; Lorena (R.J.) Slater, Oak City, Utah.

Funeral, Tuesday, April 28, 1998 at 11 a.m. in the Lehi 21st Ward Gateway Chapel, 1364 W. 1870 N., Lehi. Friends may call at the Wing Mortuary, 118 E. Main, Lehi, Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. and at the Church Tuesday one hour prior to services. Interment in the Lehi City Cemetery.
