Our beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, George Elwood Glazier, passed away April 21, 1998 at age 89 in Mesa, Arizona.

Born July 19, 1908 in Wallsburg, Utah to Charles William and Rosetta Jacobson Glazier. He married Naomi Dana, of Mesa, Arizona on December 22, 1939 in the LDS Temple in Mesa, Arizona. Elwood Spent time with parents living in Riverton, Utah, Thermal and Banning, California, graduating from high school in Riverside, California. He later worked with the Southern Sierras Power Company and later enrolled at the University of California at Berkeley graduating in Foreign Trade. He later worked as an electrician with the Bureau of Reclamation on the Parker Dam Power Project at Parker, Arizona. He later enrolled in the Palmer School of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa and later practiced at Mesa and Douglas, Arizona. He then entered the counseling program at Mesa High School in Mesa, Arizona in 1957, retiring in 1973. He and his dear wife Naomi traveled extensively during the summers, finally settling for a winter home in Apache Junction, Arizona and a summer home in Sandy, Utah.He is survived by two sons, Stewart and Sherwood Glazier of Sandy, Utah; a daughter, Eleanor Bowers of Mesa, Arizona; twenty grandchildren; and twenty-two great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 25, 1998 at 11 a.m. in the Crescent 1st LDS Ward Chapel, 116 East 11400 South. Interment will take place on Tuesday, April 28 at 10 a.m. in the Mesa Cemetery, Mesa, Arizona.
