Four people were injured, two critically, in a two-vehicle accident Wednesday.
An eastbound car on 2100 South collided with a westbound pickup truck turning left onto 7200 West shortly after noon, said Utah Highway Patrol trooper Bruce Provost.The driver of the pickup, Randee Reynolds, 16, Herriman, and a passenger, Brook Skinner, 15, Herriman, were airlifted to University Hospital in critical condition, Provost said.
Both were listed Thursday in serious but stable condition. Skinner has numerous fractures, including a possible skull fracture. The details of Reynolds' injuries have not been released.
Another passenger in the pickup, Brandy Wamsley, 16, Herriman, was taken to Pioneer Valley Hospital in serious condition. Wamsley, who suffered cuts and a broken collarbone, was discharged later that night.
The driver of the car, Irmgard Davis, 63, Tooele, was also taken to Pioneer Valley Hospital with serious injuries.
