A federal judge has scheduled a May 13 hearing on whether convicted Oklahoma City bombing conspirator Terry Nichols should pay restitution to survivors and victims' families.

U.S. District Judge Richard Matsch has delayed sentencing for Nichols until the restitution dispute can be settled.Nichols was convicted Dec. 23 of conspiracy and eight counts of involuntary manslaughter. Matsch has told Nichols he will sentence him to life in prison unless he helps resolve lingering questions about the April 19, 1995, bombing that killed 168 people and injured hundreds more.
