William Ross Ockey, 56, passed away peacefully at home in West Valley, April 18, 1998.
Ross was born October 31, 1941 in Salt Lake, to Horace Rupert Ockey and Catherine Alice Llewelyn Ockey. Ross was a fine gentle person who loved the outdoors, fishing, camping and bowling with his nephew Jerry. His favorite hobby was his Lincoln. Ross was employed by Evergreen Aviation. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.He is survived by his only daughter, Michelle; her mother his friend, Linda; three grandchildren, Korrie, Colton and Christanda; his mother, Catherine Ockey; sister and brothers-in-law, Joyce and Val Baker, Fern and Thomas Booth, Darlene Ockey, Bonnie and Jack Ford; sister-in-law, Karlene, who was married to his brother Kenneth. Kenneth passed away in January this year. Both have now joined the ranks of angels, which include their father, Horace Ockey, sisters, Charolet and Janine, and brother, Horace, Jr., who watch over us from above. We miss and love him very much.
Funeral service will be on Friday, April 24, 1998 at 12 noon, at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 So. Redwood Rd. Friends and family may call Thursday, 7-9 p.m. and one hour prior to service at Redwood.
