Former Vietnam prisoners of war were joined by comedian Bob Hope and former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger at a dinner to celebrate the accord that ended U.S. involvement in the war 25 years ago.

Hope, who performed May 24, 1973, at a White House event for the men, was joined Monday by 172 POWs and their families at the Richard Nixon Library & Birthplace in Yorba Linda, Calif., to commemorate the Paris Peace Accords signed by Kissinger."It's a wonderful commemoration 25 years later of the brave men who made such a great sacrifice for our country," event spokeswoman Evie Lazzarino said.
