I recently read Ann Floor's article identifying the many reasons Salt Lake's Union Pacific Depot should be considered the very best site for a multi-modal transit hub in Salt Lake City. I also carefully read Jay Evensen's earlier article that presented the opposite viewpoint. I cringed as I read Evensen's. I so firmly hold Floor's article to be correct that I am self-compelled to write to tell you so.
Floor's arguments in favor of the establishment of Salt Lake's future and needed transit hub at the site of the Union Pacific depot manage to encompass virtually every solid principle upon which good planning practice is predicated, so there is nothing I can add to Floor's commentary except a hearty endorsement of everything she stated.John W.
